US pop singer Lady Gaga recently came top of a poll which aimed to find the celebrity chauffeur the public were least likely to trust to drive them.

The top 10 of least desired celebrity chauffeurs included a wide mix of famous faces including footballer Ashley Cole, also his former wife and X-factor judge, Cheryl Cole, Mark Wright from The Only Way is Essex, and Daybreak host Christine Bleakley.

However Lady Gaga trumped them all by coming out as the driver the 1,000 drivers who took part in the poll would least like to get into a car with. The New York born singer’s penchant for wacky costumes and skyscraper heels may have had something to do with her ranking in the poll, as her choice of clothing could be seen by many as a distraction when behind the wheel.

On the flip side, celebrity chauffeurs the general public would happy be driven by include newlywed Prince William, who also happens to be a helicopter pilot and therefore, should know a thing or two about manoeuvring a vehicle, also the Prime Minister David Cameron, F1 driver Jenson Button, and veteran news reader, Sir Trevor McDonald.

Those perceived to have poor levels of concentration and also arrogance are seen as bring least likely to be competent behind the wheel.
