It was arguably the most anticipated wedding of the year, and judging by the photos exclusively sold to Hello and People magazine for charity, George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin’s wedding didn’t disappoint. Yet as the pair were married, it was all eyes on Amal’s stunning Oscar de la Renta bespoke gown, which is by no means an easy feat when you’re marrying one of Hollywood’s most iconic heartthrobs.

So when Oscar de la Renta announced a very similar gown would feature in the label’s 2015 bridal collection recently, no doubt brides the world over started planning for their own Amal inspired gown.

Just like Amal’s, the dress is an off the shoulder, ivory lace gown with a full train, which gives the dress a very classic bridal look. However the two dresses are not identical and the main difference between them is the train, as the dress featured in the 2015 bridal collection will not have as an exaggerated train as on Amal’s dress.
