The sports car has always been a popular vehicle type, and over the decades we have seen the evolution of the affordable fast car. With sophisticated, technology-driven manufacturing car brands are now fighting for the top spot, all wanting to invent a cheap, yet powerful vehicle.
Where Mercedes and Porsche have for years owned this sector it seems that Ferrari are looking to make a comeback, reportedly reintroducing the Dino to their product range.
According to a tweet by Motor Trend writer Jonny Lieberman, Ferrari has a twin-turbo six-cylinder car that is planned to hit the roads in 2019. Priced around the $180,000 mark, it is expected to sit roughly $20,00 less than the California T’s starting price, being a very competitive rate for the car lovers of the world.
Although Ferrari is best known for producing racecars they are also notorious for duplicating the technology used to make road cars. Formula 1 is currently running with turbocharged V6 engines, so it suggested that Ferrari might bring this into a new production car.
