David Beckham is undeniably the coolest man on the planet. From his iconic hairstyles and look to being adorned with the most amazing body art, it seems everything he touches turns to gold. However, like most of us, even Beckham has his bad days. Just this week, it was reported that the England footballer has been accused of doing 59mph in a 40mph zone; claims Beckham denied.
Renowned for his love of fine vehicles, David Beckham boasts an extraordinary fleet of over 20 cars. Many of these vehicles are Bentleys, some of which are worth hundreds of thousands of pounds.
According to sources, the former England captain was travelling on the A40 between Paddington and Kensington in a stunning Bentley worth over £160,000. Court documents did however reveal that he was caught on a speed camera at 5.37pm on January 23rd. While this does seem like a rather minor offence, due to the stature of the driver, many are saying that the court will want to make an example of the high-profile figure, communicating the fact that speeding is by no means acceptable.
Sources tell that the case will be heard in a closed-door session. This will take place at Lavinder Hill Magistrates Court. This is expected to go ahead next month. However, with the dad-of-four pleading not guilty to the charges by post, will the striker swerve trouble or drive directly into a hefty fine?
If the star is found guilty, he will become the recipient of three points on his license and will be ordered to pay a fine of up to £1,000. However, with David and Victoria Beckham enjoying a joint net worth of close to 700 million pounds, we are pretty sure he can afford it.
