Following his incredibly emotional display of affection at his wedding to Meghan Markle, we really didn’t need another reason to love the red-headed Prince. But, this week we learn that like us, Prince Harry he is a sucker for a German car. Prince Harry apparently boasts a pretty wonderful collection of cars, so many so that he has decided to sell one; an Audi.
Listed on popular car sales site, Auto Trader, the 2017 plate Audi RS6 Avant is now up for grabs. With one pretty tremendous previous owner, the car is arguably a piece of history, with the estate expected to be snapped up pretty sharply.
Used to transport Harry and Meghan to Pippa Middletown’s wedding reception last year, the car is sleek, comfortable and could be yours for a mild £71,900. But, as expected, this is not your average Audi. The Prince apparently opted for a whole string of optional extras. These included a panoramic sunroof, privacy glass, night vision and most surprisingly, a speed limit removal (#lad). According to sources, these factory-fitted accessories are worth over £11,000 in themselves.
Many have been surprised that Harry ditched Rolls Royce, Jaguar and other British brands for a German alterative. However, it does seem to be history repeating itself. Harry’s mother, the famous Princess Diana, also caused a stir when she swapped her car for an Audi 80 Cabriolet.
