While many luxury carmakers are diversifying their fleets, it appears Italian manufacturers, Ferrari, are staying true to their roots. This month, Ferrari has released details of their new car; the Ferrari Portofini.
As a replacement of the California, the Portofini not only looks great but has an element of nostalgia about it. Last month, Ferrari NV boss, Sergio Marchionne, sadly passed away. Famed for doubling profits for the firm, the Portofini was the last vehicle to be produced under Marchionne’s reign.
Well, according to critics, the car beautifully combines good looks with performance, paying homage to the Ferrari way whilst exuding modernity. Weighing just 176 pounds, the car is light, comfortable and unlike many supercars; practical. But, it is wider, taller and longer than the California, catering to the 21st century need for larger vehicles.
As well as being aesthetically stunning, the car exhibits some pretty great things under the bonnet too. Below are just a few of the car’s credentials:
The Portofino is expected to be the next best seller for the brand and with rave reviews being posted constantly, it’s easy to see why.
