It was quite evident that designers were dreaming about yachts when the one-off Rolls-Royce Sweptail was unveiled. Whilst the Bentley Continental GT Galene Edition by Mulliner isn’t as magnificent as those, it also doesn’t cost $12.8 million to sail home in limited edition Mulliner Bentleys.

This piece is inspired by luxury yachs and something that the serene seas would always wish for whilst sailing into the open ocean. Gelene is the Greek goddess of calm seas and that is who this edition has been named after. Bentley’s decision to pick this convertible over the coupe was inspired by a choice of cabrio captures.

The model is coated in a shade of Glacier White which belongs on the hull of a luxury yacht. The Bentley Galene Edition has a dark blue convertible top. The blue highlight line which is along the lower part of the vehicle is much like the one on the Flying Spur Design Series by Mulliner. It is of course in reference to the calm/clear waters. The exterior includes 21-inch alloys which come in a propeller-inspired design.

This motor is the perfect blend of the yacht lifestyle and luxury open-top motoring. It includes trims that can be found in premium yachs, which are unique to Bentley’s most luxurious cars.

Mechanically, the Bentley Continental GT Galene Edition by Mulliner is the same standard car with a 4.0-litre V8 which provides 500 hp of power and 487 lb-ft of torque.

The Galene is still going to be rare to spot around the world. This is due to Mulliner only making 30. That is even less than the amount of Bentley Flying Spur Design Series that you are likely to see.
