Genesis, the latest name in luxury transport manufacturing, have this weekend announced their new smartwatch app, partnering each of their cars with yet another high-tech feature. Very much focused on modern transport, Genesis, the luxury vehicle division of the South Korean automobile manufacturer Hyundai Motor Company, are going to great lengths to contend with the big names of the industry.  

Genesis owners will now be able to download a new, Genesis exclusive application to their smartwatch, built with various control mechanism and features that catapults drivers into the future of smart driving. Available on both the Apple Watch as well as the Android Wear timepiece, the new app is yet another reason for modern drivers to invest in this new up and coming brand 

Motor Authority reports: 

‘It works by pairing Genesis Connected Services and the integration of Amazon’s Alexa technology to bring voice controls to your wrist. You can remotely start or stop the engine. Locking and unlocking the doors? Absolutely. More importantly, you’ll also be able to monitor the status of your vehicle, find it in a parking lot, and also keep track of a meter if you’ve parked in such a location.’ 

Don’t have a smart watch? Not to worry! Genesis also accommodate the traditional smartphone users amongst us, offering a variety of iPhone and Android apps for their much-valued customers.
