With our News team working from Cardiff we always try to keep an eye out on local car-related news, especially when it involve high-end vehicles in the city.
It is safe to say that this morning was not short of Cardiff drama, with the black ice proving problematic for one high-performance car owner.
The Ferrari 458 Italia, which boasts a starting price of £170,000, crashed on Llandennis Avenue, Roath Park, at around 7.20am, causing passersby to stop and stand in awe.
With black ice infamously causing surprise crashes this accident may just be the start of a string of incidents in the city, with the weather set to get colder as we enter next week.
South Wales Police said that:
‘Conditions on the street were very icy at the time of the crash and another car, a Vauxhall Insignia, was involved in a separate crash on the same road just minutes later.’
Although not the drivers fault we cannot help but think of the reaction. So, what would you do in this situation? Leave your thoughts below.
