If you are in the process of planning your prom, then you will no doubt be thinking carefully about the all-important prom car. Being just as essential as the dress, shoes and make-up, prom cars now make for the perfect, Instagram-worthy accessory everyone wants to be remembered for.

Being huge fans of high-end prom cars, we at Cars for Stars were delighted to see images of one school’s fleet, with Balcarras School in Charlton Kings, Cheltenham, making the news for their impeccable taste in prom cars.

Hiring a collection of beautiful chauffeur cars, sports cars and buses, the Year 11s made a real entrance, seeing passersby stop and stare as they made their way to The Cheltenham Regency Hotel in Staverton.

The prom cars

Displaying eclectic tastes, students competed against each other when it came to their vehicles of choice. Where some went for beautiful Rolls Royces, others opted for all-singing, all-dancing Lamborghinis. Larger friendship groups that wanted to travel as one picked vintage buses and there was even a lorry cab thrown in for good measure!

While all different in style, all of the prom cars chosen were easy of the eye, having a huge impact on their prom night.

Pleased with the outcome of the event were the two teachers responsible for its organisation; Sara Roylance and Karen Williams-Holland.

Mrs Roylance said:

“There was a DJ, an official photographer, photo booths and a buffet.

“The kids were on the dance floor for three hours solid.

“They really had a good time. Some went off to after parties.”
