As you will know, at Cars For Stars, we are huge fans of the Rolls Royce brand; carmakers that excel with every car creation they bring to market. From the wonderful Phantom to the equally-as-impressive Wraith, their collection is simply sublime. However, in recent years, we have seen more calls for Rolls Royce Ghost hire, with UK travellers wanting Ghosts for weddings, proms, business trips and many other occasions.  

This is why we were thrilled to hear that Rolls Royce had unveiled a commemorative Silver Ghost; a limited edition vehicle that dates back to 1907. Resurrecting this beautiful vehicle from the past, the luxury car manufacturers have paid homage to the Silver Ghost with a 35-strong collection; a collection that is just perfect in our opinion.  

One of its stand-alone features is its solid sterling-silver Spirit of Ecstasy; a badge that signifies beauty and Rolls Royce history. What’s more is that the car boasts custom-made silver paint with specs of real silver incorporated. The wheels also feature the words ‘SILVER GHOST – SINCE 1907’, telling a story of when the original Silver Ghost first went into production.  

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, commented: 

“The extraordinary accomplishments of our marque’s founding fathers are honoured by the creation of this elegant ‘Silver Ghost Collection’.          

“The Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective masterfully weave the rich narrative of the original ‘Silver Ghost’ into just 35 motor cars, creating a contemporary homage to the original motor car. 

“Today, our craftspeople and master artisans continue this legacy of excellence, creating unique motor cars that define luxury.” 

Matthew Butt, Product Manager of the brand also shared details of the. 

“Careful consideration has been paid to the Collection’s defining features. 

“References extolling the past are skillfully hand-crafted into Ghost’s interior and exterior, creating a contemporary homage which speaks as much of today’s great brand as the original Silver Ghost does of its day. 

“This is a truly remarkable Collection.”
