Police Arrest a Drunk Justin Bieber After Racing Yellow Lamborghini Through Miami

We thought we had turned a corner with Justin Bieber in 2014, putting all of his silly antics to bed.

This does not seem to be the case with today marking another episode placing him in the authorities bad books. We are constantly hearing of his active involvement in the world of drugs with numerous images of Bieber smoking Cannabis filling social media and most infamously the press.

He has this week spread his mischief through Miami, doing what he does best, breaking the law. He was arrested following a speedy occurrence through Miami, appearing to be both drunk and under the influence of drugs.

Along with R&B singer Khalil the two displayed what resembled a scene from Fast and Furious, causing onlookers and more importantly the police to get involved.

A Miami police spokesman Sergeant Bobby Hernandez revealed that the Canadian superstar resisted arrest before failing a sobriety test. He was initially arrested for exceeding the 55mph speed limit, driving at around twice the legal limit. The spokesman said he”had been smoking marijuana and he did consume a beer”.

He reportedly said “Why the f*** are you doing this?… What the f*** did I do? Why did you stop me?” Miami Beach police chief Raymond Martinez said Bieber was “a little belligerent, using some choice words” upon his arrest.

Considering he is one of the world biggest role models to young people worldwide, you would of thought a slight consideration would have been made towards his fans.

Bieber is the highest-paid teenager in the world of entertainment, worth $58m (£35m).

Jennifer Peros, from American entertainment magazine US Weekly, said the arrest could be detrimental to Justin’s fanbase.

“Justin makes most of his money from people who are younger than him, who look up to him and see him as this clean-cut guy,” she told the BBC.

“Now that he’s getting arrested and put in jail, I think he’s going to lose a lot of his fanbase – as well as parents who are going to say ‘I don’t want my kids buying his merchandise’.”

His yellow Lamborghini along with his friend’s red Ferrari were both impounded by the Miami police in order to set an example to the teens that cars of this nature are not toys.

They have both been released on bail while we await the next shocking movements from Bieber.
