Ferrari is set to celebrate its 70th birthday in 2017’s Festival of Speed. According to reports it will include a huge collection of the company’s highest regarded motors.

The Festival will be graced with as many as 70 Ferraris which will add to the unique ‘Peaks of Performance- Motorsport’s Game-Changers’ theme.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that Ferrari promises to include cars that date back to the 1940s. Furthermore, there will be a Ferrari 250 category at the Cartier Style Et Luxe Festival.

Goodward Festival of Speed have listed which cars will be showcased. The list includes the following:

  • Turbocharged F1 cars
  • Ground effect-utilising F1 cars
  • Group B rally cars
  • 1930s Grand Prix cars

However, the festival has had to change its dates to not clash with the Baku Grand Prix. This has been insured so that F1 drivers and teams will be able to go to the festival. The Festival has been moved to a week later than the original dates that were set in June.

According to reports the event always has to liaise its dates with the FIA. It’s important that it finds a slot around tier-one motorsport events. Such mover ability has to tie around the grand prix and Le Mans calendar.

The Festival will take place in West Sussex and the confirmed dates can be seen below as:

  • Goodwood Festival of Speed 29 June-2 July 2017 (previously 22-25 June 2017)
  • Goodwood Revival 8-10 September 2017

Even though tickets are on sale, citizens are to be warned that weekend tickets sold very quickly, with none left to purchase.
