The biggest drag about being a car owner is defiantly cleaning it. It is one of those things that we just don’t seem to get round to doing, putting it off and off and eventually we just don’t do it at all.
We are in a generation that tends to leave this duty to someone else, a professional that we gladly pay to take this chore off of our hands.
Peter Andre, as we all know, owns a prestigious pack of vehicles that I am sure are kept immaculately squeaky clean on his behalf. Peugeot are not usually thought of as cars for stars, being attached to a certain stigma that French cars so famously are. However, Peugeot are nonetheless praiseworthy, as there movements over the last fortnight have shown. Peter Andre, out of the goodness of his own heart, assisted the car firm in raising money for Children in Need.
Peugeot is Children in Need’s automotive corporate partner. They were delighted to have Peter Andre on board to help them raise money for this great cause, launching the worlds biggest carwash service. No better celebrity could have helped with this project, being a patron for many charities and just a genuinely nice and selfless guy.
The car firm set up a carwash service across 272 Peugeot dealerships, they asked for a donation in return for cleaning cars. Peugeot predicted it to raise £250,000 between the 6th and 10th November.
Peter Andre said, “I’m delighted to be able to offer my services to the UK’s Largest Car Wash in support of such a worthwhile cause. Pop down to Chiswick on 6th November and have your car cleaned whilst raising money for charity – what’s not to love. Make sure you come and say hi on the day!”
Peugeot have also been selling the ‘Get Sudsy with Pudsey’ pack which consists of all the ‘bear essentials’ to keep your car spotless. We have bought a few for our cars and they are great! Children in Need really prove that every single penny donated makes a huge difference so please donate and spread awareness.
