Lexus are renowned for producing beautiful luxury vehicles with an impeccable attention to detail and flawless design. They are the high end branch of Japanese car maker Toyota, and boast a collection of stunning hatchbacks and sports cars, finished with a sleek and smooth finish which has come to be synonymous with the brand. The latest vehicle to join their fancy fleet is their yet-to-be released LC 500 Coupe, based on the LC-LF concept coupe, and as the last to join the crew, it is by no means the least!
Combining a beautiful design and truly exhilarating performance, the Lexus LC 500 Coupe is a new flagship 2+2 performance coupe for Lexus’ global model range, set to launch in the Spring of 2017 in the United States.
The four seat coupe vehicle boasts a 5.0-litre V8 (467bhp, 389lb ft) engine under the hood. Combine this with the incredible ten speed gearbox – double a normal vehicle – and you’ve got a seriously powerful vehicle which is just as attractive inside as it is outside. The gearbox also monitors throttle inputs, braking and steering to assist the car with operating smoothly in difficult conditions. With a classic Lexus design, the long nose of the LC 500 paired with the trademark Lexus angular grill towards the front of the vehicle creates a beautiful silhouette which simply screams power and style, offering a truly gorgeous finish available in a range of colours.
However, the Lexus LC 500 Coupe isn’t just a luxury car which is designed to look good and attract attention, but rather every single element of the vehicle, both inside and outside, has been engineered to provide a completely unique and simply stunning driving experience.
The LC 500 Coupe is said to go from 0 – 60 mph in under 4.5 seconds, though we’re yet to get any more information on the top speeds we can expect to see! The LC 500 is also said to provide ‘a dynamic driving experience and character unlike any Lexus vehicle’ and yet retain ‘a superior Lexus ride quality’.  Combine this with some of the exciting technology additions to the vehicle, from dynamic radar cruise to the pre-collision facilities, not even counting the undeniably impressive sound system, and it appears that Lexus might just have succeeded with creating a flagship coupe for the brand.
Marketed to rival the Mercedes SL, the Lexus LC 500 Coupe is a seriously exciting new launch from Lexus and we cannot wait to see these stunning vehicles hit the market!
