We all use social media platforms to stay in touch with friends, stalk celebrities as well as be subject to aggressive advertising, but rarely to we come across motoring secrets.

This week however an Instagram user has leaked images of the Porsche G13 RS, a sight we have been eagerly waiting for. The new and improved Porsche has been much anticipated, with car enthusiasts all over the world wanting a piece of the action.

The images show a fixed wing as well as well as new bodywork, with elegant changes being made to its original appearance.

We all thought we would have to wait for the the Chicago motor show in five weeks time until one Instagrammer answered our prayers, exhibiting images of the GT3 front end complete with jutting front spoiler and splitter.

With less weight and more speed many say that Porsche has not shown this much passion for a new car since the 911.

It is said that the vehicle will use a 3.8-litre engine from the 911 Carrera S, channeling 380-400bhp to its rear wheels.

It seems that the G13 ticks all the boxes, but will it reach the same realms of success as its predecessors.
