As you will know, here at Cars for Stars we are keen advocates of the Rolls Royce collection, a vehicle brand that offers so much to our customers.
As manufacturers, Rolls Royce are committed to luxury, always exceeding our expectations when dropping their latest models. Having been focusing heavily on their SUV ventures of late, we were thrilled to hear of the launch of their latest vehicle; the Cullinan.
Unveiled in Manchester, the car brand’s ‘spiritual home’, Rolls Royce’s introduction to the SUV market has been very much welcomed. Sporting an incredible look, the car is great to look at and equally as impressive under the bonnet. According to brand representatives, the Cullinan works with a 155mph ability, 6.75-litre V12 super luxury engine and a whole string of typical Rolls Royce charms.
Not your average 4X4
As expected, Rolls Royce has retained their position as glamourous carmakers when entering the off-road market, wanting to keep the spirit of the brand alive. This is why inside the Cullinan, passengers can enjoy the true Rolls Royce experience. From its in-cabin television and champagne coolers to the top-of-the-range air suspension; the car is far from your average 4X4.
But, why choose to cut the ribbon in Manchester?
Apparently, in the Midland Hotel in 1904, Mr Rolls met with Mr Royce, hatching their plan to create ‘the best car in the world’. Holding a piece of car history, the city of Manchester felt like an appropriate location to show off Rolls Royce’s latest invention.
CEO of Rolls Royce, Torsten Muller-Otvos, said:
“Our Wilmslow dealership is amongst the top 10 in the world for sales of our cars so this region is very important to us. The north of England is a powerhouse UK market for Rolls-Royce, so to present Cullinan here is symbolic of our belief in the strength of this market and our founders’ guiding principle of creating the best and most reliable cars in the world for patrons of true luxury.”
Let us know what you think; is this Rolls Royce’ best car to date?
